Bringing actors closer to intimacy coordination practices
It's Intimacy Coordination recognises the importance of feeling safe and respected while performing intimate scenes. To address this, we have developed a series of workshops that bring actors closer to intimacy coordination practices.
KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

In this workshop, students will gain an understanding of the role and responsibilities of intimacy coordinators, as well as essential guidelines for actors regarding intimate scenes. Topics covered will include the consent framework FRIES and the importance of setting boundaries. In the second part of the session, participants will engage in exercises to establish safe areas of contact and have the opportunity to do scene work. They can choose from a selection of scenes that range from no physical contact to scenes involving touch and kissing, allowing them to work within their comfort levels.

This advanced workshop is perfect for students who have completed the introductory course or have a solid foundation in intimacy coordination. They will dive into industry-specific details, including the process of recording intimate scenes, essential protocols, and the use of modesty garments and barriers. Through trust-building exercises, students will deepen their connection with other participants and scene work.

This workshop allows students to work on an intimate scene with a professional intimacy coordinator and record it for their videobook. Participants gain real-world experience in a safe and professional environment.

This service provides professional support for actors in projects with intimate or contact scenes, focusing on trust-building, fostering consent, and setting clear boundaries throughout your production.
